Because the same service on two different cars isn't the same job, and a number we make up over the phone doesn't help either of us. So here's how it actually breaks down.
Paint protection film is priced by coverage, not by car: a Partial Front starts at $1,600, a Front End is $2,100, our Highway package is $2,800, and a Full Vehicle starts at $6,500.
Ceramic coating is priced by how long you want it to last. SB3 runs $699 for the 1-year, $1,299 for the 2-year, $1,750 for the 5-year and $1,999 for the 7-year on a sedan — larger vehicles are quoted up from there.
Window tint on a sedan is $250 for 3M Obsidian, $350 for Color Stable and $525 for Ceramic IR. Front two windows on an SUV or truck start at $160.
Detailing runs from $149 for the Express up to $1,200 for the Show Car, with add-ons priced individually.
What we won't do is quote you a figure that changes when the car shows up. Call (267) 307-1589 or come to 2500 Wilmot St and we'll walk the car with you before anyone talks money.
Road brine is the problem, not the cold. Once PennDOT starts treating I-95 and the Boulevard, salt solution sits on paint and in wheel wells and etches it — and it finds every stone chip you already have. Two things actually help. A ceramic coating gives salt a hard, slick surface it slides off instead of soaking into; SB3 runs $699 for the 1-year up to $1,999 for the 7-year on a sedan. Paint protection film handles the physical side — the grit and stone chips a front end takes at highway speed. Partial fronts start at $1,600, front ends are $2,100. If you only do one, coat the car. If your commute is highway miles, film the front end first. Either way get it booked before the first freeze: both need clean, dry paint and a shop that isn't racing the weather. Call (267) 307-1589.
At Driven Auto Styling in Bridesburg, full-car 3M Ceramic IR tint on a sedan is $525. 3M Color Stable is $350 and 3M Obsidian is $250. Front two windows on an SUV or truck start at $160. Tesla Model S and Model 3 full-car tint runs $375–$650 depending on the film. Prices are for a sedan unless noted; SUVs and trucks are slightly higher. All 3M window film carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty.
Our SB3 ceramic coating packages for a sedan are $699 for 1 year (coating only, no polish), $1,299 for 2 years, $1,750 for 5 years and $1,999 for 7 years. The 2-, 5- and 7-year packages include decontamination, clay and machine polish before the coating goes on. Each package's warranty matches its length: 1, 2, 5 or 7 years. The 5-year is our most popular. Those are sedan prices; SUVs and trucks are slightly higher. Used cars that need paint correction are quoted at a free consultation.
For most daily drivers in Philadelphia, yes. Road brine from I-95 and the Schuylkill sits on bare clear coat and etches it. A coating gives salt, bird droppings and brake dust a slick surface they rinse off instead of bonding to. Washes are faster and the gloss lasts. It won't stop rock chips; that's what paint protection film is for.
3M paint protection film at Driven starts at $1,600 for a Partial Front. A full Front End (hood, bumper, fenders and mirrors) is $2,100. Our Highway package is $2,800, and Full Vehicle coverage starts at $6,500. Those are sedan prices; SUVs and trucks are slightly higher, and exotic or complex panels are quoted per car. 3M PPF is self-healing, typically lasts 7–10 years and carries a 10-year warranty.
They do different jobs. PPF is a thick, clear urethane film that physically absorbs rock chips and scratches on the parts of the car that get hit. Ceramic coating is a thin, hard layer that adds gloss and makes the whole car easier to clean, but it won't stop a chip. The most common new-car setup is PPF on the front end with ceramic coating over the entire car, including over the film.
Window tint takes 1.5–2.5 hours (up to 3 for large SUVs), and you can wait at the shop. Ceramic coatings take 1–2 days so the coating can cure. A PPF front end takes 1–2 days, and full-body PPF 2–4 days. Full color-change wraps take 3–5 business days. We confirm the timeline when you book.
We don't do mobile installs. Every job is done at our shop at 2500 Wilmot St in Bridesburg, Philadelphia, where we control dust, light and temperature for the install and cure. It's off I-95 and an easy drive from Center City, the Main Line and South Jersey. For full-front PPF and multi-year ceramic coating packages, Main Line customers can book concierge pickup & delivery: we pick the car up from your home or office, send photo updates during the work, and deliver it back when it's done. Ask when you book.
We're 3M certified for window film and paint protection film, SB3 Coatings certified for ceramic coatings, and STEK certified for PPF. 3M is our house PPF (100 and 200 series), and other brands are available on request.
New Car Essentials (full tint plus ceramic coating) is $1,399–$1,800 by vehicle size. New Car Protection adds a 3M Front End PPF, with 3M Color Stable tint and ceramic coating, for $3,749–$4,500. Ultimate Protection (full-body 3M PPF, 3M Ceramic IR tint on every window and ceramic coating) is quoted per car. The first few weeks are the best time to do it, before the paint picks up chips and wash marring.
Yes. Model S and Model 3 full-car tint is $375 (Obsidian), $500 (Color Stable) or $650 (Ceramic IR). Model Y, Model X and Cybertruck front-two tint to match the factory rear is $109–$245. Tesla ceramic coating starts at $999. Front End 3M PPF is $2,350 and the Highway package is $2,800.
